What are you needing for your coupe Jalopy Gal?

 

Well, it's a tall order but the one thing my dad said needed to be changed first was the rearend. I posted this a year or so ago and never found anything: 'Looking for a Granada, Maverick, or Mustang (complete) early 5-bolt rear end'.
The car sets on the T frame he had his T coupe on. Not sure if that makes any difference but it's fyi.

Now I know nothing of what would work but that's what he said to be on the lookout for. Right now it's a got an original A rearend.
Once that garage is built tho, I'm gonna get it moved inside this weekend and take a look at what needs to be done(???). Time to break out the manuals and start reading.

 

yep, that'd be about the right width you're gonna need... i THINK explorer might also work... we'll figure it out. Troy has my #, dont hesitate to call

I may have a Ranger rearend here. Should be the same width as an Explorer. If it's good I'll let you know and you can have it. I'm only about 15 miles west of MOKAN.

I was told I need to know the type and width. Now the only thing I know is that I may have to get a different tranny. I've got a 37 toploader in it now so I don't know if it would all go together. Anyway, there are two things, 1. I don't drive so I'd have to find out how to get it and 2. After all the building just to have a place to work, I'm broke as a joke. If you still want to give me the specs, just pm me and I can go from there.
Dang you HAMBers are the coolest. I think at this point that's the only thing I really need to at least get it a little bit better shape for driving. The other stuff will come along a bit later.

 

Anyone know which weekend the 2010 HAMB drags is ???
I'm working on my calendar for next year and wanted to know if the same weekend as the Springfield Mo swapmeet ( aug 20-22) or Frog Follies (aug 27-29)
