    Thanks Taff!

We had a good time getting the Coupe out of the garage. Goes to show ya that a little sunlight can desinfect even the worst of things.:)

I hope you make it back to the states soon. If you come to vacation, September here in Virginia and Maryland has some very good shows.

    Keep in touch

  3. I just called Skip the owner of theAnglia..He's alright, little bruised..
Appears the spindle broke and the wheel flopped under the car..likely at 100 MPH..
car is repairable..front end is junk..

Here's a couple of pics from my very good friend Paul Hutchins. We had a blast at this race, The S&S race team were on their home turf and it was great to see two S&S cars in the final of the AA/GS shootout..!

You guys (and the S&S Willy's) put on one hell of a show Sunday. These four cars were making BIG POWER!

Hope you guys come back next year

Glad she didn't go over.Track official told me after incident it had laid over so I stand corrected. Truck referred to was gray primered one owned by Curis Rice at our club(BOT) display.

Actually, the Anglia did go over on its side. I was in my golf cart on the return road right beside them as they came thru the traps. The Anglia crossed from the left lane to the right lane right behind the Boss Hydro chute.....and hit the right side guard rail. It scrubbed off a lot of speed before it swung around a laid over on the drivers door. Skip got out quickly thru the p***engers door (the one aiming toward the sky) and then we all rolled it back on its wheels to keep any more fuel from running out of it.

Driver is O.K, car needs some work. This whole thing could have been much worse, especially if it had gotten into Rocky's parachute at over 100 mph!!

Thank you, we had a blast racing there..! We spoke to Gary after the event and he was real happy with the show. We look forward to being there in 2010.
