this weekend at Norwalk Raceway Park...who all's going??? will there be a HAMB Meet & Greet??? anybody swapping???
I miss the old Blue Suede Cruise! Camping, carload of people and as many fun runs as you want for $30 for the weekend! I won't be there, I'm going to the collector car auction in Akron, Ohio- the 2009 Ohio Summer Cl***ic Car Auction Have fun!
I considered going to the Auction in Akron, but one of the few cars I'd be interested in would be the "Vermillion Red" 1938 Ford Deluxe rumble seat convertible. HOWEVER, at an estimated value of $62,500 - $69,500, I don't think I'll attend, waaaay beyond my budget. The Blue Suede is a Good Guys event and I look for it to be better than last year (it's first year as a Good Guy). Additionally, I'm looking for a 1935-1939 Ford Tudor Sedan (finished street rod that the wife wants) and I'll have better luck finding it there at a more reasonable price.
I missed last year, never missed it before it was goodguys. My kids want to go, so we will be there. Looked at the Goodguys cl***es, looks like I will be in the dreaded "Hot Rod" cl***.....racing against bracket cars like camaros....
Dave Shuten is having a Pig Roast so I'm heading there instead. I just cancelled my room at the American Inn if anyone needs one.
The family and I were just there on Monday....You will need a whole day there at least if you like coasters! The Dragster is by far my new favorite!
We'll be there. Free cookout Saturday night-right up the street. Close enough to hear the track from the Deadendcruiser's place when they're running. Come on out and join the fun-all are invited. Hope to see you there. Had a good turn out last year. Hope to get more HAMBers this year. This is a FREE event. If anyone needs a place to camp let Deadendcruiser know.
i'll be swapping anyone else swapping??? really can't wait to see Guasco's 'pure hell' & Hough's 'Nanook' screaming down the quarter side by side
