Okay, so I've been screwin' around for most of the morning trying to get the Headlight and Foglight switches off this '36 Olds dash...

The headlight switch, I've tried twisting the knob off...just spins...there's a nut on the back side, tried to get it off, it just spins...Tried pullin' on the knob...it doesn't come off that way...I'm confused...

The foglight switch, No nuts on the back, the nob doesn't seem to twist, or pull off...I'm confused there too...

It's amazing how to simple little do-dads can make you feel like a dumb***..

pull out light switch knob to turn on the headlights, then push the ****on on the top or bottom of the switch (on the back). should pull out the rest of the way, then you can take off the nut and remove the switch.

if it's like every other GM light switch from the 30s to the 80s

On the foglight switch, does the bezel on the front flush with the dash unscrew?

I tried to see if it would unscrew, sure doesn't seem like it...

I did get the headlight switch out, just like Squirrel said...
