More from 1987:

This continues the series of the designs I did for Hot Rod's "The Future" article, that appeared in January 1988.

These two views are of the same basic design, though the top roadster looks like (by the tri-star logo) I may have been indicating a Mercedes drive train... the bottom, a conventional "American Made" engine/transmission.

Those "dualie" tires and wheels are a little far fetched, (something I saw at the S.E.M.A. Show in 1986) but hey... I was taking a shot at the future, wrong as I was.

Though the body was aimed at all new construction, the basic underpinnings were all in the traditional style. Even the side exhaust was reminiscent of the LimeFire street & strip roadster I "drew up" for Pete Chapouris in 1986.

Same illustration technique as last Friday's offering and I'll include a close up for detail. -Charlie-

Stepped up to the Table said Goin Double Down - The Coup said I havend given you any cards- The Kid Saya Cards - Man I don't use no cards - just watch this action He laid down a copper creation and before the ohs and shas had stopped helaid out this ertigo thing - Peoples eyeballs started to roll back in their heads - They was foamin at the mouth - gettin all heebie jeebie and then just when it caant get any better Dameon arrives and announces supper may be ready soon - if anyone wants to jump in and help.
