turbo 400 63 impala

    hey guys i need help i put a t400 in my 63 wagon and i am stumped on shifting linkage, can anybody post a pic or give me pointers on how to change over and what to use. thanx in advance

    Might be able to run a single rod from the column to the arm on the trans. You'd need an arm that has the right length and a hole on the end. Kinda like this

    I think someone makes a similar kit for the TH350/400/700 for the 58-64 cars.

    Otherwise you could try to swap in the whole linkage from a mid 60s-70s car that has a TH400 or 350, with the cross shaft.

    thanx for the info, i like that single rod but 45 bucks wow the older i get the cheaper i get, i'm going to try and make one
