Cool pics. Blackie would be a cool cat to hang out with for a day, you would just have to sit down shut up & listen to the stories. I always liked the Howli Kart, & the shish kabob special still looks great. Some of the cusoms that are in storage & all dusty are kinda ugly IMO though. Thanks for posting these pics up.

its funny what we hear,,, its a close call but he did just buy a new hotrod! i felt really lucky to rome around his place there i think his memrobila collection is the biggest!!!! wow you could be in one room in his house and spend days going through it! yeah old hoss, i like his eye for kustoms and the golden piranha is one bad *** car its in my top ten of kustoms! we outta take take a feild trip there sometime,i could spend more time out there for sure!
Those inverted packard tail lilghts and that cont' kit really make that car. I dig the quad headlights as well. Thanks for sharing
Thanks,damn I hadnt seen Bob Schoonovens 65 chevy impala radical custom in over 20 years,that car shook out the show guys when it hit the scene 1st in a brown and then in pearl white with ghost flames
Blackie is great! His collection is crazy cool! He's has a variety of customs for sure...including some of the more radical ones that used to get kicked to the side rooms vs. main rooms like...the Golden Pirahna and the De Rosa Merc 4
yeah he seemed real proud to own it and said nothing but good things about your pops!!! i got to see your pops at billetproof it was nice to catch up with him! he brought up the video at reasoners, i have it on dvd now so if you want a better copy that will last longer ,let me know! blackie lesson of the day was buy a car with history!then he spoke highly of derosa work!!
