I have a question on my 35 Ford: Are the rear fenders on 35 & 36 Ford Sedan Flatbacks the same? I'm having a problem w/ my tail light stansions fitting right. I was told there is a difference between the 2 years on rear fenders. I either have 35 stansions and 36 fenders or 36 stansions and 35 fenders???? Cause the bolt holes on the fenders have different spacing than the bolts on the stansions and the stansions have a gap on the sides (like 3/4 inch on each side of the stansions)??? Please help???????? Thanks!

Yes, 1935 fenders have a peak running down the center of fron t and rear fenders, the 1936's are rounded.

36's are convex down the back side and 35's are concave, when viewed from the side, along with what 37kid says

The 35 stands have a very large hand-sized base whereas the 36 ones have a palm-sized base. The 36s are longer than 35s.
