Cool vid. I live about 10 miles from Half Day (IL) and think that building is still there, although not a service station any more.
I grew up in Chicago and sumer weekends I'd head up to Oswego Dragway Great track great time for a kid with a 28/29 roadster sure wish it was 1964/65 again
Salt update!! Bud went down on the bike a couple of times and hurt his hip. Not broken I guess, but sore enough he's heading back. He was hoping to beat 130mph for a record but only made 117 from what I can gather. He's still in good spirts though, as he always is. He'll be back!!!!!!!!!!! Ol Blue
