Hi There I am staring to build a Riley overhead model B for my roadster, and I was wondering If anyone knows what Insert Bearing shells are used to convert to inserts? I heard they usr Triumph TR-4 Bearings for the rods but i am not sure. I would like to find out what they use for the mains. Any help would be great. Thanks Matt
Have #s you need. Model B insert for mains federal mogul #1160sb. Shaft diam. is 2.000 housing bore is 2.151. Theycome in .010 thru .040 undersize. May need 2 be narrowed, depending on size of the radius! Hope this helps you. Shane
Friend of mine has a full pressure converted crank that uses MG-B 67 up rod bearings for the rods. takes 2 sets per rod.
