I fly into San Diego in the morning and will be there through Friday morning. Just looking for some stuff to do after the conference. I'm staying close to the gas light area.
There are weekly car cruises here, there is one on wednesdays in el cajon and on thursdays in La mesa. I think they are still going. The orange line trolley from downtown drops you smack dab in the center of the la mesa car show. Its the La mesa Blvd exit.

I went to a Padres game a couple of weeks ago and the Valentines building was all boarded up. They did have good food. I worked on the construction site in your google earth photo for six months. I ate at valentines alot. That job site was a nightmare!
