My 54 under the knife

Brace everything, especially doorways...good luck man, hope it goes well...

 

Are you paying someone to chop it or will you and your friends be doing it together? If your going the friends route, you may not all be friends by the end of the build... This is what I've heard can happen.

The chop will be done by "professionals" as soon as I find one I trust to do it right and the suspension will be done by me and my buddies thats what we are starting tonight.

 

Thats absolutely correct. Everyone has to be on the same page when doing a group chop. Start out with a game plan. know where you want to cut before you make your first cut and double check everything 3 times over. As stated before brace everything. I have friends that will tack weld the doors and trunk before cutting. If all else fails Roadsters are the in thing now!

 

well we started tonight as promised and ended up with a s10 front clip hopefully will have some pics for you tomorrow and then plan on Thursday to have the back half done
