A good friend of mine and our club, Brian "The Brush" Briskie just left my house after doing a little stripe work on the firewall of my '53..

Having him 'finish' the firewall like he did just put's the icing on the cake for me!
    He's damn good!

More of his work can be seen on Dat Dirty Rat's post..he did some killer work on his '54..

I feel like a little kid at christmas!! [IMG]

I can now begin to re-assemble the front sheetmetal and get ready for paint!!

Give me a few minutes so i can get the pics on here..

Fine line's, very clean work. Salute to 'The Greek' is really nice. And it tie's in the past to really give this car the time warp effect. It's in the detail's! Well done Brush.

Nice lines. It's amazing how something so simple in design can change the look of something. later plmczy

    That was an after thought.
Brian and i went over what i was looking for. Basically i just told him i wanted simple and classy line's.
We decided on the color, then i let him do his thing.
when he was done he asked me if i was happy or if there was anything else i would like....
I looked at it a few minute's and said how 'bout some Tommy Tear's right in the corners of the cowl..
He said it it sounded like a nice touch..

It's funny how 6 simple marks make such a difference..
I just came back in from admiring his work again, and love those simple little marks.
In the pic, the tears look kinda funky, but in person they are absolutely perfect..at least to me [IMG]

Thanks guy's, and i'll be sure to pass the compliments on to Brian.

Tony, the striping looks just right. I really like Brian's fine lines as compared to many of the other stripers around that make use of heavier lines. He is a master! And, what better way to highlight the great work you did to the Chev than to have it striped by someone that knows where to place the stripes. I love it!!!

Here's another of 'The Brush' doing his thing..

The top of the core support is the only other piece in white that is striped..

  23. Brian the Brush is a "Heavy Hitter"! A great talent.

The guy also does the "Tightest" lettering you'll ever see, too.

Almost a shame to put the sheet metal back on!
    Brian has a website?
If you would Tony either post the link or PM it to me.
I want him to do my A when it's done!

I asked him to sign the firewall. He actually wasn't going to..but i feel it's art work, and credit should go to who did it..
Anyway, he signed it, and the letters are very small, and perfect!
Looks like a stamp it's so clean..

Bob, thanks for hooking up Moondisc with the link..
