how do you adjust the hood and fenders on a 41 ford truck? There are gaps between the hood and fender and the front part of the fenders seems toghter then the rear. any ideas and help would be great!!!!

loosen bolts in area needing adjustment.

    move part needing adjustment

    tighten bolts

    check alignment

repeat as neccessary until alignment is satisfactory

I did a '40 model and asked for advice on the hamb and what everybody here has said is that those are the worst possible years to fit. It is one huge misalignment package. I bolted it all up tight and then started 'splitting the difference' taking it all apart and reshimming. I worked my way back from the hoodlatch. I found that things went together better when i had the front of the fenders higher that i thought they should have been (if that makes sense to you). Good luck, oj

If things are really bad try to verify that you have truck hood and fenders. No certain about a '41 but they are different on a '40 car vs truck, even the hinge and hinge mounts are different.

add shims under the front cab mounts or if there are shims under the rad support remove them it takes time and effort to get good gaps
