The koolest part of this thread for me aside from the obviuos killer ride is the fact that you took the time to thank everyone that had kind words for your ride. You're a Cl*** act Bro! I hope to meet you on the road one day.

First off Ian, I am just putting the iceing on it. the car is all you. I have got to tell you guys how impressed with Ian i am. This cat bought a welder, hunkered down in his small garage, taught himself how to weld, cut, fit, grind and do bodywork. this guy is definatly a cl*** act, and going to be ahard act to follow! He didn't sit and whine I need help !! hey anyone wanna help a brother out ! he did it himself and didn't let anything stop or get in his way ! More guys should be like this.!! HE should be damn proud ! and we should all be damn proud of him. I AM!!! I see too many guys whine and moan, i can't ,..could you help? then they want to set back and watch you do it for them. and then they want to take the credit or just don't bother to tell the whole story, so maybe everyone thinks they did it all. guys like that just annoy the hell out of me. but everyone knows in the long run who they are foolin! ussually the guy that can do about everything is the quiet guy sitting back taking notes, not talking and ranting about how tough this was, you know the story. I am just damn proud to be part of this build, helping Ian take it too the place he wants it too be, could he have finished it by himself? I think he could have, but he didn't feel he could do the job he wanted and rather then make a mess , or have less results then he wanted he outsorced it> and I'm proud to be a member on his team, thanks for the chance IAn, Big move to let someone you don't know or have ever talked too paint your car, let alone take it half way across the country! see you soon, Ian ,...with shinny painted car in back ground. I HAVE made a new friend, and a good one he is !! damn now I'm getting all soft........see what happens, thats why we can't ever be nice to each other. jeff

that thing is awesome...makes me want to get my 53 back out and work on it...to many projects to little time...whats great about this thread is it show how much work goes into something...and how much filler work goes into nice cars...most people dont get that fact that there is filler in a ton of show cars...thats why they are so flat...great example of hard work paying off though...Awesome awesome car

  16. I feel the same way, Ian has what it takes, and his future as a customizer is bright.
I saw his car just before it left for Kansas, and I was pleasantly surprised, about the work he had done, especially since I saw the car in it's early stages, a year and a half ago, when it was a nightmare, and I wouldnt have touched it with a 10 foot pole.
Ian, you sure proved everyone wrong, and I like it:D:D:D
