Hey guys I have been modding and working on cars for 15 years now. I have always wanted an old school rod / rat rod and thought this would be the place to be.

I want to buy one that has the major work done frame/body/chop/channeled
so I can focus on the engine, accessories, interior etc. I dont know if there are alot of these types of rides in Virginia I never see many custom rides around here.

I have done 4 total frame off builds in my time 17 total cars and 2 mag featured
454ss Chevy truck (notched, shaved, built motor)
70 Nova (frame off, new everything)
    90 RX-7 (fully caged track car) 380whp

    other notables
350Z mag featured, low wide and soon to be supercharged
Audi S4 with full RS4 conversion
civic hatchback with a fully forged built engine and turbo setup in my dorm room 12.3 sec 1/4 mile car!\

look forward to getting ahold of some vintage american metal

Welcome from a Bama Hamber, enjoy the ride yusoslo. There should be plenty of HAMB friendly tin in old Virginia.

thanks guys I havent signed on in a while. yeah I know the stigma with the rat rod name, but I dont want a finished job with a 10k paint job the color I dont want. I have a feeling I will have to fly out to CA and find one and ship it back since my craiglist searching is futile here in VA.
