I just scored the two hood side panels for my 34 Ford 3W but I am still in need of the top pieces. I have been told that Rootlieb is the best manufacturer of aftermarket of steel hoods...can anyone refer a distributor for Rootlieb? Thanks...
Thanks for the mention, but I'm not a Rootlieb dealer yet. (As I recall, their buy-in is around $3,000.) Once our****embled bodies are in full production, then Rootlieb is one of the companies that I intend on becoming a dealer for. Some very neat things are in the works. As they actually become reality, I'll mention them on here, but not until then. Thanks again. Dave http://www.roadsters.com/
Dave, I did check your site but didn't find anything for 34's...are you going to branch out from the deuce line?
Sorry if you missed this part, above: Some very neat things are in the works. As they actually become reality, I'll mention them on here, but not until then. Thanks again. Dave http://www.roadsters.com/

Glad to hear the small crisis in quality they suffered anfter Hank died has been overcome and Rootlieb is again the best in the business.
He's tough to deal with. I buy 6-8 32 hoods a year and at Louyville I bought several hoods and asked about a discount' ? He didn't flinch.
If you haven't already found a hood top, let me know, as we are a Dealer for Rootlieb and do a lot of work with them on hoods for Speed33 builds as either a 33 or 34. -Kevin 734.451.1141
I am looking for a two piece top hood for a 35 pickup (Ford). The problem is I need this hood to be 5/8 inch longer at the front. Anybody have a suggestion? Steve
