Yep, I got it now, I just assumed that was just built into the axle from the factory until I looked closer...I thought the dude was referring to drop blocks up front...

that is one cool ass truck. I would have left it alone, but lowering is cool too.

I'd give it the killer "big and little" rake with cool dog dish hubcaps.

when people ask how it rides tell them it rides as good as I want it to look.

I'm no suspension guru but I think you need to modify the steering arm on the back of the spindles rather than the drag link. someone who knows something about this should be along shortly to correct me or agree.

hey... what's that in your avatar? you ought to be working on that.

Really like the stance before and after. You said you used a Mor-Drop axle?? Didn't know they made any for those year trucks. Unless you adapted it from something else. I have 2, 61 Uni's and a 57 F100. I want to do this to the 57 and also drop the rear as well but with out bags.

Careful of using those "big truck" exhaust manifolds you speak of,they did not have the same bolt pattern as the y-blocks used in cars and light trucks.

Did you drill a locating hole in your front axle for the leaf spring pack locating bolt? I'm just trying to walk through the front axle drop in my mind in case I'm lucky enough to find one of these trucks...did you remove any leafs on the front or back?
