Well its soon time to pack the cooler and hit the road. The Jacksonville Road Rats are pulling out of town at 0300 on saturday for the Dixie Fried Car Show in Atlanta Ga. If anyone is interested in taging along we will meet at the Waffle House at I295-Commonwealth ave. So far we have five cars. Our non interstate tour will take us through the forgotten back roads of the Great state of Ga. We are not in a hurry and try to stop and check out any old iron we see. If you want to run with the road rats all pre 65 or so are welcome. A picnic is planed Sat afternoon at an old wooden bridge and saw mill in upper Ga. Where is the wooden bridge and what time will you be there? I might not have anything planned after the swap meet except finding some boiled peanuts.

Alright Micah....glad yur going this trip! Ill find out the secret( yeah sure) location of the secret(uh huh) wooden covered bridge . and report back secretly (got it) on the ETA for dog patch and anyone else who might want to come by. just got back.......hold on let me get in the cone of silence...is this thing on?....oh well....Its in Carlton Ga, I think its the covered bridge state park. However we have a change of plan.....We took a secret vote and looks like its going to be the swap meet first and then over to Carlton for the afternoon. Its real cool over there. Ron ,one of my pals has his old (secret)place near there and will most likly do some dirt roadin and check out the secret old iron he has been hiding (hoarding) fo 50 years!
Look foward to seeing some Jax friends up there. F-Bombs are pulling out tommorrow after lunch and cruisin I-75 up. We're stoppin somewhere in GA to check out a motorcycle museam Sat morn. and then headed in to Atl. Micha, call mw when you guys get up there Sat night. I think we're all headed to the Star Bar for a primer coat of boozes so we can manage on Sunday. Bullethead said he was going with a few of his crew too. Hope all you guys have a safe trip! LMAO !! We made the trip down from PA last year - took us 12 hours to get to my pop's joint near Athens , then on down to ATL the next day ('bout 1.5 hrs.) ... it was a blast !! Hope ya took lots of pics .
