That photo was actually taken by me in front of my house. In the garage was my coupe in a million pieces back then. I too that photo and made Stevo a pretty cool computer wallpaper. I'll post it shortly, mike night want it.

    Here's Stevo that same day...

And here's the wallpaper. This was something just real quick and sour of the moment. I just used some striping clip art...

Have fun with the UnFairlane; it's a great car. Stevo drove it to Indy in '05 with no wipers and it rained! Good times...

I hate '60 Fords, but I like this one! So, here's another vote for "no change". I even like the carbs out the hood.

  10. hahaha...you know me well Scott :D

Bought a set of Tru-Classic wires today off egay.....if they look good, they'll be on it next week. Cut up a 63 T-Bird hood for the scoop(well, it was already cut in two)
I can't leave NOTHIN' alone

That thing is so U-G-L-Y I am jealous.

If you are not attached to it yet, I have a couple projects I would be willing to trade for it. :)

Great score Earl. I had a Galaxy 60 tu-door post about three years ago and turned it quick to a buddy wanting to build his first car. I think its still sitting untouched, silly me! I think its lines are bitchin, that side sculpture, neat shapes on hood and that square top is sweet. Yes, I love it man. That 302/AOD package would put that baby in fat city!! What ever mods you do to get it right are inevidable!! Enjoy Bro.!! ~Sololobo~

What about opening up the hole in the hood for a shaker cold air kit like on a Mach 1?

I have to agree any old ford looks pretty good. This one especially. I vote bagged true spokes, chrome reverse or astro supremes bell flower tips and carbs out the hood or scoop ... depends on the scoop. and how high if the scoop is low smooth and looks stock the maybe but if it looks like a cowl induction on a 80s camero... well I guess that answers itself!

I think it looks great as it is. Except the hood.

Was it '59 or '60 when Fords ACTUALLY OUTSOLD Chevys???

  26. Leave it as is, change up the wheels to supremes and add some nice fine ribbon scallops. This car is too cool now!

  27. Funny how this came back up today.....
True what Scooby said--I ran it on egay twice--no takers(too cheap maybe?)....so I figured I'd put my mark on it.

I'm attaching the scoop today--hopefully get the hood worked and painted over the weekend. Changed the steelies /caps out for a set of real Kelsey-Hayes wires off a 64 T-bird(nice $300 score from the Springfield swap HAMB drags weekend:D)

I'm trying to share pics, but having a little problem with photobucket vs firefox  (f@#*N%! computers!!!) Lemme figure it out.....:(

    Scoop off a 63 'bird

Looks like it's supposed to be there :)

Yummy wires  Man, they were FUNK-EEEE! Green stuff growin' on em, dirt, rust....

I'm really torn on what else to do to this thing. The flaked roof is a blank canvas---candy scallops? Lace? Fish scales? Candy lace??? Freak drops?(no, I don't think so:eek:) Repaint it pearl white????
It's for sale, so leaving it alone would probably be best, but.....

Uh oh...I would have left it just how you got it..."If it ain't broke..."
maybe some low white ribbon flames?

Taste is a funny thing. I think the wheels are trick, and the '63 hood scoop . . . well, an old friend once said to me: "If something WORKS, it WORKS." Sometimes you don't know until you try it, eh? Well the hood scoop WORKS for me!

But that's one cool thing I'm realizing about PhotoShop (we have some GREAT PhotoShoppers on the HAMB, too!). You can SEE how your vague mential picture would REALLY look before yo start cutting, welding, filling, painting . . .
