Had to wait until 4pm to get our window sticker but got a real good spot in the back 40 only a few yards from the A lot, got to do a bit of crusing and was very surprised at the number of folks that we knew.

To those who wanted to come to Lead East and couldn't this year the record has been broke - there are over 1700 cars here this year - wish you were here and more coming in tomorrow - as a first time test Terry Cook is letting in 72 - 76 in for Sunday only.

 

Sat the show was packed, 'incredible cars and great weather. I think this is by far the best LE yet. I'm heading back today with the '39. I've been there since Thurs hanging out with teddyp, cowboy vinnie, and 57gasser, and chop olds was there yesterday as well as bobk.
Anyone coming today, ,make sure to look for the guys under the white e-z up in the back of the lot behind the Hilton, we'll be by teddp's blue '50 Chevy. Teddy made sure to bring lots of his favorite Italian food.

 

Well the show is winding down, except for the crowd that is still around Chip Foose. Chip has been at it since early this morning with lines practically wrapped around the Hilton to get his autograph and a chance to say hello.

He did that non-stop till way past the awards at dinner time and then came out on stage to answer everyone's questions they might have for him, he may have grabbed a bite to eat after that and then came outside to the Golden Gup and has been talking,& signing more autographs all nite. All with a smile on his face, he should be sick of talking with people by now, BUT NOPE, he is still as cheerie and fresh as if it were the first person he spoke to first thing this morning. Pretty amazing writers cramp should've set in 12 hours ago.

Terry Cook asked the crowd if they'd like to see Lead East have a day added, so if you want to see LE have Monday added to the venue, shoot them an email and let them know if you do.

 

I Was There on Sunday. What a great show! Lot of cool rides.
