While cruzing in the outer banks at Kitty Hawk NC we deceided to stop at Hooters. In a corner booth sat Motor Mikey from Pennsysvania. We had to see his condo and have a drink or twelve.

They were up before I was at 05:45 am to go golfing, I have just called AAA as I have a dead battery this morning.

We've never met, but....

Glad to have you in our little corner of the world! I live 2.5 hours away, but my mon lived in KH before she died in 2008. I've spent ALOT of time there. If you get a chance, there's a really cool restaurant at MP2 on the beach road in front of the new hotel. It's called the Rundown Cafe...has a Carribean feel to it and so does the food! Great for lunch or dinner! Get anything "jerk" (no I'm not calling you one, it's a seasoning/marinade from Jamaica)!

Enjoy your stay, and if you return home by US 64 (not I64), PM me and I'll try to meet you along the way!

 

I just got a call from Bob. He's still waiting for AAA. He'll be at Ty-rods on the 13th. Man, does that guy put on the miles!

You never know who will find you. That damn travel gnome caught me. I guess I should have booked my vacation with travelocity. As always its was great to catch up with Bob.

 

If you came down 158 towards Elizabeth City you passed within a mile of my house...., probably a quarter mile as the crow flies, I could have waved at you from my front porch!

 

I did just that but of course didn't know or I would have stopped.
