man after a great time at b***,s place frydaynight and the hot fun Saturday at the invasion, it got me to thinking, i sure wish there was a local place like the dairyette or somewhere we could meet up on frydaynights. im sure there is a old school drive-in with sock-hop music in the box somewhere. man, i need more friends like the people i met Saturday. any thoughts ? where all you dfw guys hang your hot rods on frydaynights ? elwood.....
i like the Dairyette, ill be glad when the car show there returns. theres the albertsons parking lot thing in south arlington, for people on that side, ive been there 4 or 5 times, its ok but its just a big parking lot and no shade and its hot and not many hamb bros there. that i know anyway...... we need a old covered drive in like in happydays yo ..
Last time we went out and stopped at keller's it was full of new cars and some street rods. Just not my thing I would rather be in the shop making somthing.
Dairyette is cool. I've been going there my whole life. But the lot is tiny. Kellers on NW is mo' better for a crowd. Plus they serve alcohol for those so inclined. Either way a Friday nighter is a great idea. dka
Hey some of you guys on here are also on dfwstangs... And ls1 wagon did you fix that oil pan, you have a clean wagon man
Friend of mine always wants to go to Theo's in grand prairie. Back in the day we would go to a place in Richardson 50's dinner.
Its been about 4 years ago I was out there with some Mustang folks and there was plenty of awning parking and such. Still not Fenders though (man, I miss that place)

Pappas was "Fenders" a cool place back before it changed...at Industrial and I30 is a BBQ place "the Hicory House" that stays open till 10:00 Fri night-thats where I be...its a drive in but has a small lot-but has beers...old man Keller is getting the Samual site back and open - its off I30 and Dolphian Rd....I'd go for NW Hwy for all around points...
