Event Coverage Caravan to Primer Nats pic's...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Bad Bob, Sep 6, 2009.

  1. I didn't have room for my chairs or canopy,so Jim let me borrow his daughters chair! First thing Luis said was it was like your chair!
Actually I haven't taken anything apart yet! But I will be soon! I'm trying to take my time and get the right look. Not in any hurry. Good hearing from you Erik.

Hey Bob...looks like the drive (as usual) is way better than sitting at a show all day....I've always felt that "the show is on the road"....couldn't make it.... but love the pics Thanks!.......... and yeah....... it's good to have you back....

  3. If it was all about sitting in a chair next to your car,I would just do it in my driveway,LOL!!! The drive has always been the highlite for me! It was kinda nice to make it home in the drivers seat. Instead of the passenger seat of a AAA towtruck,hahaha...

  5. Next year I will post the map and what time we will be where. The guys who want to can meet us at the McDonalds at 7am. It turned out to be a great idea to stop and stretch. Maybe i'll get 20-30 cars on the caravan...

  6. I know it's out of the way,but at least you're driving your car and heading to one of the best shows of the year! Right? I have no problem driving out of my way to do something cool!!!

Oh Crap that is too funny, not jsut Bob sitting in the time out chair but the bear comment.

As always the trip up is the best part of the trip. I look forward to doing it again provided they continue the show. If not, maybe we jsut need ot do a driving tour. There is something for you to put on your to do list Bob. Had a rgeat time thanks a lot for putting the caravan together. After the party at Kiwi Kevs the Wife and I drove on up to Solvang and visited a few of the wineries. I will post some pics in a separate thread.

all kidding aside,Bob did a great job of organizing the cruise up,hell i woulda been happy just with the drive and no Primer Nats. We need to organize a "coast cruise" Bob on a Non show day, just for the ride!!!

I am glad i took the picture though:D:D:D

  14. Looks similar to another HAMBer I know!!!
The chair was full size before I sat down...

Bad Bob.Your mission if you choose to accept is to organize the "PCH cruise just for the hell of it"

This thread will disinegrate in 30 seconds if you dont accept the challenge.:p

  21. I'm planning another one that will end at Paradise Cove, for breakfast. Working on the starting point right now. I want as little frwy as possible. Maybe starting at the Denny's at Lakewood and 91frwy. Then the 91 til it ends and PCH the rest of the way. We'll see...
I did the "Run to the Bun" a few years back, that went from Posts-o-call to Mission Vejio.

  30. What a great looking drive, makes you wonder sometimes, why stop at the "show", when you could just keep on driving all day long.;)
