Holy Crap Brotha! I'm putting out the APB also!!

  5. That's weird, I had a stock small block Chevy water pump pulley shatter the same way a few months ago. Had to replace the water pump, and when I took the fan off, the center of the pulley fell out in pieces in my hand. The fan was all that was holding it.

    UPDATE

He's off the freeway at I40 and 70 just west of Zanesville at a Super 8. So he's off the highway safe, and I also located an Advanced Auto Parts and an Autozone a few miles away. He's going to call them and maybe one of the employees might pick him up, or a cab company could also take him.

But if that doesn't work out, he's going to spend the night at the Super 8 and get it fixed in the morning.

    Any luck?
I'm in Columbus about an hour away, and I know it's raining like crazy here, and hate to hear about someone on the side of the road in this crap.
Don't trailer but got plenty of tools, and ain't afraid to work on the side of the road.

    The part:rolleyes::D

Tyler's limping to a service station parking lot right now on battery and block water. As soon as he gets parked he will give Josh (ChromedRat) a call.

Maybe someone in the area has the part on a parts car or knows of someone who might.

  15. OK
I'm off the freeway and have a cozy room at the Super 8 on I-70 and the 40 near Zanesville OH

Elrod found me an auto Zone a couple miles down the road that is not open tonightI assume because of the holiday. I'm thinking a cab in the morning to get another cheap pulley (Temporary this time) to get me home and were back on the road with no problems.

If anyone is local and has a SBC 2 belt water pump pulley give me a call at (224) 532-1518.

    So Far this week

I drove the 59 ElCamino with no problems from Chicago to Dallas for the Invasion
Proposed to my girlfriend...................she said yes.
hooked up with Rashy and Bullethead (Bulletproof) for a great lunch in Tulsa on the way back to Philly to finish selling one of two houses so I can move to Chicago.
    Now a little pulley diversion.

Not a bad week so far.

Does it look like this right now??:D

Same thing happened to Larry's '32 roadster on our way from B'ville to Jackson. Cheap ass chromed pieces. Junkyard piece is on that roadster now and will probably last forever now.
