Getting a little creative...looking for a waterpump

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Curly, Oct 22, 2004.

  1. I've decided to run my radiator in the bed of my '28 PU and figured out the plumbing but I want to put my waterpump in line and mount it under the cab. Who makes an inline electric pump that is tough enough to be considered streetable?

If I can find the right pump that would finish out the cooling system on my tweeked little hauler.

Hint Hint...blown, tripower, 283, zoomies, spooled rearend and slicks and a sickness for altereds [IMG]

Electric water pumps are pretty commom now. I'd try some of the big performance parts suppliers as a starter.
Not sure if you have these in the states, but I'd go for a Davies Craig water pump (www.daviescraig.co.au) their cheap, small and can be mounted anywhere.
If on the other hand you want a period electric water pump, I think you have a long search...
