    I'm bored so humor me.

So lets say the Chinese take over the world and force limits on how many hotrods you can have. What would they be? I guess my list would look like this:

1- my current '54 Chevy belair
    2- '40 Ford coupe
    3- '32 Ford w/hot flattie.

I would have to ditch the '55, no '46-48 Fords, no '36-'38 Fords, no
50-'60s Chevy gassers, oh the agony!:D

So, in this fake, evil, chinese-ruled, Hyundai-infested world, what would you pick for your 3?

Just 3, Hmmmm... ( I reserve the right to change my mind tomorrow)

    1. Finish my 62 Monterey Wagon
    2. '33 3-window Coupe with '62 406 with Factory 3x2 setup
    3. 1967 Ford GT40 Mark IV

If Race cars are not allowed, make the last one a '29 Model A Roadster with a Blown Buick Straight 8.

3 is sort of a dream number for most man. I would limit it to 1.

    Anyways,
'35 Ford Coupe Mid 50's Hot Rod or Late 40's Custom
'32 Ford 5 Window late 40's early 50's Hot Rod
'49 Chevy Fastback Golden years Custom.

I would toss the Custom to have a '29 Roadster on '32 Rails with '35 Ford Wires and a Warmed up Flathead.

  16. Too much on my list but I'll pick 3. Not in any particular order...

    1) Model A Pickup hot rod

I am fortunate ... I have two of the three :)

But for the third one I would add a 1957 Ford 300 ... like this one.

Mine would be equipped with a 427 FE side oiler, 2 fours and a top loader 4 speed.
4 wheel disc brakes with 31 spline axles in a Detriot Locker 9 inch.

    :D

OH yes ... I love BLACK cars !!

A scratch built RPU with a M-Benz V-12. Styled to look like a Messerschmidt 109 fighter.
    A 60 Starliner 2 door wagon mild custom with a SOHC 427.
My 40 Merc with more custom overtones. Taildraging and chopped.

  19. Glad you didn't sat custom, the choice would have been harder.

Not one of them would have a gas tank out in front of the radiator/grill.

    The three?
My 48 finished out the way I want it and ready for the

A 41/53 (somewhere in there) Cad or Buick fastback or hardtop done up right.

The 41 or so Flattie that is in the garage done right and sitting in a little A V8 with just the right stuff and nothing more. My brain says 29 two door on deuce rails.

I'm not really interested in having a large accumulation of cars anymore. The little flathead 6 powered roadster will probably use up most of my car building time and energy for the next year. The car has been on my doodle pads for years in different forms and I have a stash of photos for inspiration.

The 48 will take many hours to get it to where I want it. A laundry list of modifications and hopefully not one that looks out of place.

The Cad or Buick at this time is just a pipe dream and may never happen.
