I thought that someone was making new smaller E&J style repops but I can't find a source. Anybody know where I can get some? I think they'd look very cool on my Model A.
Thanks in advance for any leads.

I just ran across an article on these in a Street Rodder-Oct or Nov 2002 I think. I'll try to find it again.

Thanks for the quick responses. I just checked out the Crafty B lights and they are amazingly beautiful, with the drilled brackets, matching tail lights and everything.
Unfortunately they're more than my wallet can handle. I seem to remember seeing some cheaper ones that were made of fiberglass or something other than cast alum. and were painted except for the rims.
    Anyone know about 'em?

It was Street Rodder November 2002.They listed:
    Classic Fabrications USA stever@cfabusa.com
    Mooneyes
    John West Fabrication biffowest@aol.com
    Zipper Motors,Inc.

Don't know if any of these are still useful. Good luck.

There are 'glas copies made in England, and shitty cast Aluminum pieces from Mexico.

  11. Style can cost. Save your pennies. I vote for the Crafty B stuff.

I ended up getting a set of glass ones  from Steve at Classic Fabs and they're good even for glass. There's a lot of fitting to get them to work but not a bad deal.

Real one's are defininately outta my price range and I couldn't ever hook up with Mike (framedragger) to get a set from him which is what I really wanted.

His stuff is nice, and quite reasonable for the work involved.

Want something "different", without being expensive ?

    King Bees.
Much less than Guides or E&J, since they are no longer "fashionable".

Agreed! They look like high quality pieces and a pair of the smaller headlights are on the "must have" list for my 'A' Roadster project...

  16. Yeah unless you can find fibre glass replicas they seem like a good deal. The ebay guys are just the castings that you have to assemble and supply a light and a lense and he is still charging $200.00 by the time all is said and done I think CraftyB look like a pretty good deal.

Here are the fiberglass Zipper knockoffs with MC headlights. I modified mine to accept the Model A wire covers

The Zipper headlights on Denis4X4's roadster seem to be just what I'm looking for...very cool!
Jeremy, at Zipper Motors, told me that he has the molds and all to make them and he's gonna send me specs and pricing.
Haven't connected with Steve at Classic Fabs yet.

Well, in case anyone's interested, here's what I found out about E&J repop lights:

Crafty Bee's are beautiful cast aluminum and are $449.Check their website.
Zippers are smaller and are fiberglass and are available for $295.There not shown on Zipper's website but should be available.Contact them via their website.
Steve Ricketts has some fiberglass ones made in England for $250. He also has reproduction badges.Call 949-278-1182.
I haven't seen the ones from the ebay guy but was told that they are rough and need lots of work.
Lots of cheaper alternatives: Guide 682c around $250 from Speedway.
King Bees and Deitz under $100, Arrows a little more.
    Thanks to all who responded.
