I drove a Morris Minor in High School. (Had a '64 max wedge s/s'er at home for weekends!) There was a nice clean M/M at the Goodguys and Hot Rod Reunions at Bowling Green the last couple of years w/ a 302 Ford in it, pro streeted. I didn't take any pics; I don't care for radically slammed, stupid huge rear tire'd things.
heres mine. His name is "Chuck Morris" . Once its painted the side of the car will say "The Hitman" He's almost done. I love some cl***ic british metal with american muscle
If you decide to g*** it i have a hell of a nice strait axle built for a morris id like to sell or trade.
Really cool little cars! They have just the right amount of Brit quirkiness! 1948 - 1971 http://jalopnik.com/5353157/the-ult...ors-50-cars-made-for-over-20-years/gallery/38
my 51 sidevalve currently completely apart for painting and derusting almost ready for colour to go back on. Am also building up a tickeled sidevalve engine for it - 918.6cc of twin carb mayhem. Have made up a twin carb manifold and will soon start on a set of extractors. Upping the compression ratio, porting and modification to the intake and exhaust, as well as an unfriendly cam are on the horizion
I'm putting this one together for my wife, Irene. It was a convert, but we made a carson top, and couped it. Every panel has been altered. It runs a 273 Chrysler on LPG. (Gas is expensive here). Cheers!! Charlie!!!
Here's a design sketch for my '58 four-door: Unfortunately I haven't got a photo of the physical car since I've got it out of storage. At least I can get to it now.
