    Teacher friend of mine said her friend had an old pickup she was wondering if we could work on for her, said sure. This is what showed up....

    I HATE that type of rear bumper. Looks like a good ol' truck. I miss my 50 3 window.

    oooh, Tman, might have to make a trip, wanna have beers Sat. night and go on Sunday?? Dont know her plans yet, ini***ally we will tune-up, general maint. type stuff. Are all the 6 lugs 3/4 or where they also 1/2 tons? Need to find the numbers to get the year, engine size etc.... What good web sites exist for these??? I'll keep you updated.
    Oh, Trent, you dont have or know of front brakes (everything from backing plate out) for our '53 chevy coupe do you??? thanks guys-

  10. Usually some brakes at the swap. I am single for the weekend. It is also the Deadwood Jam Fri/Sat. Karl and I will have a booth at the swap, Blue EZ-up

    I had a 49 1/2ton, it was a factory 6 lug. The truck looks pretty complete but if you need parts I think Greg has/had a few standard and deluxe cab trucks for parts.

    Gal who owns it stopped in today to visit and I asked her what she wanted to do with it, said she didnt really know, showed her the November '09 Cl***ic Trucks with the Blue A.S.S. p/u on it and she loved it. Not that we could do anything neat that caliber of work but at least she doesnt sound opposed to some hot rod / customizing :)
