Well it’s time to do some advertisement for my club, Aces & Eights’, show next month. It’s going to be a fantastic event. Great food, music, tattoo shop on the premises, top notch pin striping, haircuts, swap meet, vendors, old race cars and good folk. Also plenty of show stuff will be for sale..t shirts, posters, etc so bring some extra scratch. The show is being held on Deer Lake which is located right off of Rt 61..near Cabelas..also right off of interstate 78 for you New York and Jersey guys and gals.
This is a traditional hot rod and custom show, pre 64 American made automobiles. All others are welcome but must park in the spectator lot which is right near all of the action so don’t sweat it.

There is also a nice little after party in the works so stay tuned. It's going to be great...MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to let you guys know, there is as usuall a rather extensive swap and vendors area. Something new this year is we are bringing in commercial vendors with the large trailers. This is due to the fact we now have the venue to handle this. As many of you know, this is the show we used to hold at the Playdrome in Allentown. The reason for moving the show is to solve some problems that we could not work around at the playdrome. Other than space, our biggest problem was food service. We are now able to bring in outside vendors, ( some real good food this year) which will end the problems we had with how long it took to get vittles. In addition the after party is now at Pappy Ts' Pub, right by the host Microtel Hotel. Nice clean, new hotel, and inexpensive. See our website for a reservation link. Obvious benefits. We'll be posting up more on this later.

The Deer Lake Veterens Memorial Park is a great show location, easily accessable from several interstates, SR78, 80, and 81, for the folks coming in from out of state. The entire car area and the vendors area is either paved or stone and nicely tree covered which solves the hot lot problem we used to have. Also the lakeside location is just a perfect place to listen to some rockin' bands and just enjoy the day with friends.

Anybody with questions is more than welcome to PM me here, or contact Joe through our website, acesandeightscc.net.

As a side note, In tough times we've elected to ask a measly $5.00 per person, no charge for the car, to join us. Proceeds benefit the Purple Heart Foundation for returning wounded veterens of our armed forces. Swap meet spots are $15.00 for private individuals and $40.00 for commercial vendors. If you car doesn't meet Howies all-knowing eye to get onto the show area, (like most foreign cars or newer than '64) we have a special area reserved for "others".

Hope to see many HAMBers as there is a get together, at 11:00 at the main stage. Gates open at 6:00 A.M. for Commercial Vendors, 7:00 for private sellers. Spectator and Participant gates open at 8:00 A.M. sharp. The Veterens color gaurd and our National Anthem, sung live by Chelsea Reed will preceed the bands and stage shows. All Pin-up ladies are invited to sign up at the club vending building for the pin-up contest.

No trophies, just plaques awarded by some celebrity guests and a bunch of prizes.
It's only a month or so away. We're inviting you all to this party!

This is a rain or shine event. We only get one chance at this. It's not for the trailer queens.

Hey Fryguy! Anybody who was at the last show knows it was much better that that! Especially when Pete and Johnny started cutting the rug with the pinup winners. The Belmont Playboys absolutly kicked ass at the last afterparty. I'm hoping this one is twice as good.

Thanks for the heads up about the show. About how far is it from Hershey? How late does it usually go? I normally work into the afternoon at Hershey but may swing by after.

From Hershey, a little less than an hour down 81. This will go all day..and there is a hot rod after party right down the street that will go on well into the night.
