Rear bumper is a 41 caddy he****/ambulance bumper. It has a ribbed step down in the center. I over narrowed it so I will be adding two inchs back in the center. The overider is made from 40's? caddy bumperguards with the overider bar cut from a 51 Hudson overider.

hey sounds neat on the "just 2"" going wider...i feel alot of taildraggers the rear bumpers are too wide. your plan seems like it will be tighter fit and then seem more sleek, smooth, no shin buster....cool.

The way the bumper is now it looks great from the rear corner. It just kid of flows around into the fender but from behind when veiwed from another car going down the road it doesnt work.It needs just a little bit hanging out in the breeze.

She was a rusty car dragged out of a field in Kentucky. The bottom 8 inchs was gone on the back as well as the inner wheel houses where the fenders used to bolt on.

The back third of the top is from a 48 aerosedan as well as the side trim.

Accentuates the chop on the window openings, which don't get "lost" as the roofline "speaks" for itself.
    Cool!
