Aussie needs some help here please. A wheeler n dealer in Rosharon Tx has for sale a 41 Chevy 2 door for 8250 dollars and it comes with 350-350-10 bolt and a few other choice goodies. My questions are....anybody had dealings with them or anyone close enough and so inclined to have a look or am I barking up the wrong tree? With exchange rate,freight to Long Beach,shipping to Aus, taxes and a safety margin it will cost just about $17000 Aus, so I need to be sure before I jump in the deep end. Moore Rods has some pretty decent prices. My old man emailed the guy a while back about shipping a car to Dubai. The owner was pretty cool about it.

 

With the price of flight tickets, its nearly worth flying over and checking it out yourself. I am sure someone here knows what the deal is........hold tight and good luck.

Rosharon is located just south of the Houston area. You might see if someone around here can check it out for you. I did that for another Hamber awhile back up in my neck of the woods. Rosharon is just too far from my base or I would look it over for you.

I was raised a few miles from Rosharon.I have a good friend who has a restoration shop in in Alvin which is the sister town to Rosharon. He a really good guy and will know what he is looking for and at.I sure he knows rhe folks over at moore

look closely, very closely. Take your time and have an inspection, as suggested above. Some of your Aussie mates buy cars from me annually. It is all based on trust and a pleasant experience. GOOD LUCK and best wishes
