Hahaha... too funny. I'm sorry to laugh out loud at your spousal abuse. That's not very PC of me. :D

The RPU is pretty dang cool. I'd like one of those someday.

Mine works on her Fairlane while I work on my '62 C10 next to her. We pass each other wrenches. The biggest hassle is when I need a socket that she's hoarding over there. Glad to see you're wrenching, even if it is on the wife's Merc. At least you're not having to replace the alternator on a Mountaineer or Saturn. Yech!

I wish my wife gave crap about cars. she's supportive, but she just doesn't care at all about them.

Looks like a great start. I like your budgetary goal as well. Keep it up and keep us posted. I can't wait to see the Merc, either.

I worked on building a bug catcher today. Roughed in the shape. Outer pieces are stainless the rest is made with steel thought about polishing the stainless not sure yet. It finally came together harder than I thought it would be.

Just thought I would post up some progress pictures. Hoping I can have it running for my wife to drive to the invasion show. After that we will have her take it to Manifolds on main. She hates being in the coupe loud and hot. And she says I try to kill her in it.

My buddy's wife yaks at him if she doesn't think he spends enough time in the garage. Lucky guy. My ex always wined that I spent too much time in there and loved the truck more than her. I still have that truck....

So I am sound asleep and she wakes me up by screaming:

SO!! You thought I wouldn't find out?!

I was startled! Barely awake, my first response was: "baby, she didn't mean anything to me!!

    *Silence*

... I was talking about the two thousand dollars you spent on exhaust that you were hiding on the credit card... What were YOU talking about?!

    Uh..... *Damnit*

Ah, you boys think you've got it rough. Heck, I'm running out of friends with driveways. Where the hell am I gonna hide all these cars and trucks now?!

The only thing I know for sure is that they can't all come home at once or I'll be cooking for myself again. And NO ONE wants that. LOL

  26. Do the Merc! You can build a Hotrod in about a month,LOL....
