i just picked up a 55 chevy today and it had the same front wheels as the 55 from two lane black top on it what was the name and or company of the wheels trying to find the same ones for the rear ..who makes them ..thanks..i thought they were american raceing ..am i wrong
I'd like to suggest naming them "Chad"... Actually, I think those are slangly called "Daiseys" or "Coke bottles" but I'm not sure of the actual manufacturer name for them. I thought they were American Racing. Jay
Go to the American Racing website- look under 'Vintage' then see if the 200S is close to what you have. Looks close to me. http://www.americanracing.com/browse_vintage.asp Jay
based off of memory of that car, they are daisy's, not sure the real name either but thats the swap meet name...
Clifford, definitely Clifford. You could nickname them "Stubby" just to confuse people so they'd never be sure if you were talking about your wheels or someone elses.
Back in the day they were nicknamed "Daisys" or "Bullet Spokes" American makes a repro called CL200's. Good Luck and post some picss of the '55.
yea thats the ones s 200's nice..now does anyone know the size of rear wheels combo that was used on the rear of the car ..im not trying to do another clone car but i liked the wheels and tire combo on that car ..thanks
