i just got back from jerry's a little while ago. his roadster is inching closer and closer to registration time! the only major thing to do before registration is getting the gl*** installed in the windshield frame. the rest of the work is just finish work but won't keep it from being on the road come late winter or early spring. the 53 ford flat motor is running great and the exhaust sound nice. jerry has a full set of fenders and running boards for it but i have been trying talk him into putting them on e-gay or some ****, anywhere but on that car! we took it for a ride today, about a dozen laps around the neighborhood, turning what few heads were outside because it is cold here today, low 40s and windy, and with no windshield in there it was a little nippy to say the least! we had a real blast though, it drives great. i'm going to post some pictures for you guys. by the way, in the last 3 pictures showing the interior, can anyone guess what that steering wheel is off of? i'll give you the answer later, mike

Mike, Looks great. Killing time before work, checking the HAMB and I stumble on this. Makes me want to go home "sick" and get out to the barn.

OHHH BABY!!! Now that's a good looking hot rod. I can't imagine getting it finished JUST in time for winter. If it were me I'd still drive the wheels off it. Spring is too far away to let it sit. As far as the fenders go, why not put them on over the winter and see if they look OK (I'm fond of A roadsters w/fenders). If they don't turn your crank, come spring, take 'em off. I don't think I'd sell 'em though, it might be hard to fine some (and expensive) if you ever wanted to put them back on.

[IMG] Thansk Mike for posting the pics. The car is running great and the weather won't stop me from driving around. But i think a windshield will help a lot. Fab32 The fenders are not going any place. They need a little work if i have time over the winter i will start on them or just put them on to see what it's going to look like and then work on them. But they will never be sold. They where given to me by a good friend. That now do's not want me to use them. Go figger???? Mike thanks for the running boards and fenders WE will see what happens with them next year. Again thanks for posting the pics. Glad you enjoyed the drive. Jerry
