magneto access through the cowl vent!

    what a good idea!

    could work for mine too..

'went to an inlaw family reunion, didn't get to work on anything but did talk cars with sister inlaw's husband,

he's got a '31 Chevy 2 door Sedan I can have if I want it,

sounds like just a body and frame, but he thinks it's worth fixing, he's a car guy, always has been so I trust his opinion.. we'll see.

probably have to wait for spring though, it's in Okanogan, about a four or five hour drive and it's about to start snowing in the passes.

Worked two 7pm to 7am night shifts fri and sat, found a buyer for the 41 pick-up (no money yet tho) and took the wife out for dinner and a movie. Prayed for the Hendrick Motorsports family.

Well I had a full Sunday full of work to do in the shop but decided to go out and enjoy the Coupe alittle.n Me and Pops a.k.a. (Dirty2) cruised around east Texas for about 4 hours in the Coupe and sedan. Ended up visiting my grandma in Emory, Texas. Took the scenic route to and from to get some serious cruising in. HAd a blast got a little wet but what great fun we had. Nothing better then getting out a driving something you built. "If you cant drive them daily then they aint worth havin"

Pressure washed the new front end and dumped another can of degreaser on the stubborn stuff.
Spent far too long routing one stupid wire and still got it wrong.
Hooked up the dome light so I can keep working after dark.
Finally (after months of procrastinating) took care of the leaky trunk.

I put my 67 away for the winter. We have 6" of snow here already so I figured it was time I drove it into it's winter home

Me and pop continued putting steel in where the wood once was on the 34 chevy. The wife even got out and sanded out the entire pass. side of the car. Didn't get as much done as I wanted, but the driver's door is once again attached and moving! [IMG]

KCMongo and I worked on InjectedA's old truck.
Put neat old doors on it from an old Purina company truck and dropped in the '55 287 Pontiac I got from KCSledz.

Some of you might remember that when we received this truck, it was nothing more than a cab on a frame. It's been slow going but now we have enough parts to start work on it.
the idea is a real low buck build just to show some of the newbies that it doesn't neccessarily take a ton of money to build something fun.
We plan on a channel job and lowering the front and rear suspension.
Anybody have or know of a manual transmission that will bolt to this engine?
    We need one bad.

Fixed some metal fatigue fractures in the dash rail support on my roadster and some cracks in the cowl (Probably related).

Pressure washed the motor on the Chevy, proceeded to do the driveway & patio. Put the hood back on then started doing a little Bondo magic on the rear quarter/taillight. Went to a swap meet, almost bought a bunch of stuff, came home empty handed.

Glad you all got to work on your cars. Saturday I had the unpleasant duty of attending the funeral of a friend of mine. He was 18. Drugs got their evil hooks into him and unfortunately he succumbed to them. It was very difficult. He was a very intelligent young man who was quite fun to be around when he was clean. I had the honor of being a pallbearer, but that didn't stop me from shedding some tears. Real men cry, specially when they bury kids, which is what he was really.

Sunday was spent attending church, after which I got a tat finished up.

Crickie, I can't read through all these posts.

I traded some deuce rails and spreaders bars I bought through Speedway which boxed in for the following: original frame rails and boxing plates, deuce grille shell, model a grille shell, 38 chevy wheels, 2 front springs, 33-34 front crossmember and a deuce front crossmember. We were actually both pretty happy. He has two 32 fords though so he's still ahead. Roadster project here I come.

Oh yaeh PM me if you have a 32 hood/sides or a rear crossmember for a 32. Thanks!!

"" (quote)No, I won't post pics, but there were 2 different classes, and I took both.

    1. Successful surface to surface piercing

    2. Successful Genital Beading

If any of you piercer geeks ever get a chance to talk to Steve Haworth, I definitely reccomend that you do! He's a VERY cool guy, and has a TON of useful information that he's willing to share!

For those of you that don't know, Steve is the guy that does the horns, and forehead spikes, and all of that other wild stuff you see on talkshows. (quote)

i guess boxing my model t frame pales in comparison to that ,but i gotta get out more [IMG]

See, in theory, this will improve my clientele base, which will mean more money towards the car projects, so it's all actually car related, right? [IMG]
