I have a guy wanting to trade me a '35 Chevy 2dr sedan project on my Buick and was wondering if there are any builds or photos of them here. I've searched but didn't find anything.

  2. If it's a flatback, that would be a great trade!

check to see if it is a standard or master 1935, there is almost nothing in parts for astd unless it is mech. we have some stuff master but it is not as plentifull as other years

maybe this is why he wants out. 35 masters i think are real cool but make sure all th eparts you need are there cause there hard to find

I have a rough body (1935 Master flat-back), but have not started a project yet. My plan is to use it for a vintage Modified Stock Car racer. I haven't decided much else yet.

Cool cars, but in my opinion, the flatbacks look a little weird without the rear mount spare tire.

your buick looks like a nice car. but that standard 35 is really nice looking also and hard to come by, and with a 56 sedan thrown in might be a good deal. Owning the buick I am sure you have dealt with wood issues in the old gm bodys. You prolly know your buick pretty well but check out the door sag and other issues in the 35 chevy and if there are none none it looks like a good deal to me. what is the front and rear suspension in the 35? The 35 has all new wood and all of it has been installed but the p*** door, it has a Mustang II with tubular arms up front and 12 bolt Chevy rear on parallel leafs.

Some times we get bored, or just have a need to move on from one project to another. And if this is your boredom, or need. At least your options for trading wont hurt you, and will keep you in the game. Good luck with your decision...John

Have you checked out carnut dot com?
I see the car does not have a radiator. I wanted one of those for sooo many years( the car)
    I had a standard 35 3W and a 34 Master 5W.

Do it, that's a nice looking car, and something you sure don't see everyday.

I think that would be a good trade... as long as the $$ part is to your liking.

Yeah ditto. Since 12 also, and you are right never bored with the hobby, just the projects sometimes. But you're buick doesn't look boring at all. So I know your decision is and will be a hard one. And I am glad your the one making it. Again good luck...John :D
