Anyone have any pics of information about a 409 Impala "Getaround" that ran in the NE circuit? It just moved into my neighborhood (within a 5 block radius!) to a friend's house.. I'd sure love to dig up some info on this ride..
the car was owned by ron ruth of willow grove pa,my old man went to school with him,and i went to school with his daughters,car sat in his drive way for years,he died abot 10?? years ago i had heard the car was for sale recently, i know the car was run at vargo and did a lot of local street racing back in the day
That's the car Hot Rod Surfer.. a friend of mine is now the lucky owner. I'm looking for pics posted here so I can print them out for him.. If you go to Vargo this fall Getaround will be there! He's been working on it night and day to get it ready. Dig up some pics!
