Ahhh The Jersey Torch, remember seeing that car a bunch when I was younger as a teenager, and would just drive around with my buddies on Fri and Sat nights in the late 80's early 90's

Haven't seen it in years though I dont drive around aimlessly anymore on the weekends, maybe I have just missed it at local cruise nights or maybe she has gone into hiding?

Has been interesting reading this thread ~ the '57 Chevy mentioned in here was mine ~ I met Jimmy (Jimbo) back in '83 whe he first painted the car for me: burgandy & white, flamed, of course. Then we went candy purple with scallops, then we chopped it.

The flames? Started with little 2 footers, up at the White Swan. Next thing ya know, 5, 10, 20 feet, and the rest is history ;-)

Miss ya man ~ don't get in too much trouble up there with Fonzie, will ya? And watch out for telephone pole guy lines!!!
