Did anyone else go? It's getting harder to find any decent hot rods there. Half of the traditional looking cars there had rack and pinion steering....jeez.
Post up whatever good stuff you saw. Here's a few I took.

saw one of the traditional winners ,guys were around talking about how they did it back in the day , it had mustang front suspension , how is that traditional , they need some more in that show next year i will put mine in i was across from the lower gate got a lot of compliments and picts taken ,

  8. So what you're saying is that a car with a MII front suspension was considered "traditional"?!...

I twisted the rules when i built my model a, thought about safty, handling..didn't think it would be an issue, with the suspension. the rest is old school??? I've had trouble w/steering box's,brakes in the past.. now i'm mixed media?????? is there a cl***?? LOL

This is really a great 3 day event . Lake George NY is transformed into car guy heaven . Its like bike week for Hot rods . All week there are old cars everywhere. The streets are lined with cars + people . Every hotel, restaurant, and gas station are filled with all diff types of cars. Everyone is driving around with open headers ,slicks etc. You even see all out drag cars driving the streets. One guy had a funny car driving around with the body up !!! Yeah there's allot of stuff we would never like to have , but its all about the cruising . Oh yeah , Burnouts are everywhere too . People even throw water in the road for added encouragement, BUT WHO NEEDS WATER !!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU NEVER WENT TO THIS EVENT YOU SHOULD MAKE THE TRIP. ITS WAY MORE THAN THE SHOW ON THE FAIRGROUNDS< ITS BIKE WEEK FOR HOT RODS:cool::cool::cool:

  26. We do the Wampsville show that weekend. Not as big, just one day, but they get some damned nice cars there that I've never seen anyplace else. Was a nice channeled '32 roadster there this year. Even a real Nascar stock car on the for sale field. Cheap at that.

And it never rained enough to even cover up the paper stuff out for sale, it did spit a little a couple times but that was it.
