Did you already sell the 3w? I thought that was a keeper? (of course I thought the 36 roadster would be too!)
that is what I was thinking....did your buddy sell that 3 window??? Looks like you guys have a fun trip...
yeah i sold it! i wasnt sure what i was gonna do with it, the owner (a hamber) im sure will come forward at sometime. which 3 window, the one in the pics? nope, both 4 doors are gonna be built by the wilsons JEFF
So exactly what do you have to do when you purchase a car or body in Canada and haul it across the border? I know where there's a few things up there as well... but figured it'd be more hassle than it's worth and never really looked into it. Of course they aren't 32's or nearly as nice as most of the stuff you seem to score but... Cool stuff Jeff
What in hell are you talkin' about? Speak English man! I got the "hoser" thing but that's about it. That mean us East-Coasters aren't C'nadian? Y'all have Southern accents, right? Well bless my grits and pass the chitlins! Now.. you guys have SO many old pieces of tin "down there" ... leave what little we have alone! Shoved in a corner. Take of her,****us, so she can come back some time. Keep your stick on the ice!
they didnt ask a thing from me, but i had the****le and a bill of sale, just in case, but probably just a bill of sale if its a body. one time we had 2 canadians, 2 minnesotans and 2 ohians in a hotel room in louisville for the nats, now that was some funny*****! it wont be in a corner to long, just need to raise some funds and collect some parts. but i just cut the***** out of my hand so ill be laid up for a week or too! JEFF
"one time we had 2 canadians, 2 minnesotans and 2 ohians in a hotel room in louisville for the nats, now that was some funny*****!" I though that was the start to a joke!!! We have as many different accents here as you do so I understand. "but i just cut the***** out of my hand so ill be laid up for a week or too!" What??? Real bad? That's sux. Hope you are healed up quick.
well i was cutting the front clip off of a chrysler 5th ave parts car and the clip slipped out of my hands and a jagged edge proceeded to slice the side of my hand open between my middle finger and thumb, its pretty bad, we got the bleeding stopped and i just about passed out and i probably should have gone in for stitches but its too late for that, so ill take it easy for a week probably. which one? the red primer one is ownd by my buddy Cale's dad Hugh, hes planning on building it pretty soon. the other race car is owned by Jack Rea of thunder bay and hes thinking of building it soon too. JEFF
that first picture on the trailer is priceless. good job! leave the next canadian deuce hunt up to me haha
yeah it was great, we got to follow along side of lake superior for like 3 hours! beautiful drive. JEFF
Yep. Jeff (TITUS), take care of that hand-clean it well and don't mess with infection-lots of nasty, resistant bugs out there these days. Have you had a tetanus shot lately? Jeff
Jeff, I know the feeling, once a '32 man its hard to look elsewhere. people call it arrogance, I call it love...
Jeff, congrats on the new '32. Bummer about the injury, clean your hand well and super glue is helpful to close it up while healing. Hand injuries***** as they keep opening up as they start to heal.
Man.. take care of that hand and keep an eye on it for infections. Yup. Super glue. That's what it was made for. I understand about not wanting to go to the doc but... well.. take care. You need those hand to keep workin' on those cars (including the one you snuck out of Canuk-land).
Ive been laying low taking car of my hand, shell heal up good. I just dont have health insurance at the moment, were working on getting it but ive just been procrastinating. JEFF
Well at least it remains in North America. My father had a red 32 5 window. One of my first childhood memories.
Jeff, I hear Blue Cross has some cheap health insurance options these days...glad you keep finding good tin, they're always in good hands with you...hopefully your shed doesn't run out of room anytime soon...if I ever get my shop built I'll gladly store a few projects for ya hahaha...
Thats kickass. I had a canadian deuce once... but it was because I had gravy on my french fries. What a mess...
