I going to paint my car. I'm not going to chop it or anything radical right away.. just a paint job to keep the body solid.... I have decided on a Red bottom / off white top. what I can't decide is if I should pait the top of the doors around the windows red or white....... could someone good at photoshop doctor the pic up for me to see what it would look like with fire engine red bottom and off white top. and then a fire engine red bottom and upper doors around the windows. whith an off white top???? any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! if at all possible (beggars can't be choosers) leave the dimentions of the car the same, no chopped top ect... of course if you want to do an additional one with a chopped top or lowered ect that would be great too..... but for now I'm tryin to figure out the color scheme as is. here is the pic...http://slickschoppers.com/IMG00104.jpg
Hell, yes, nosed, decked every fucking thing. I'm going to put some frenched antennas on it if I can figure how to make it let me draw again. Stay tuned. Tom
Getting better. Tom Well, Photoshopper, anyone* can do it that way. As you can see my boat is a full on Kustom job, right down to the frenched antennas, the bell flower tips and the multiple aerodynamic modifications to the factory body lines. * If they know how to use Photoshop, which I clearly don't.
Don't hang your head, brother, if you need any Photoshop tips, or you just want to talk about life, feel free to send me a PM. But listen kid, quality work like that doesn't come easy, it requires sacrifice. Tom
no photoshop but imo split it right at that trim/belt line. white top, red bottom. we split my 49 chev at the belt line and it looked good that way.
that's some straight gangster lowrider shit right there. i can't wait to see the car done up like the rendering.
I believe I got into this car once in Chicago after drinking all night at the German-American bar down by Rush St... I like how the light sparkles off the trunk lid.
... dude you are friggin hilarious, those are great. I blurted out a great big laugh as soon as I saw the first one .
Funny stuff guys!! As for the car with the beltline trim in place I think you should go white above and red below. Red window frames wouldn't make any sense above the trim.
... seriously though, I agree with DRUGASM and K13, split it at the beltline, white above and red below, no red window frames.
I don't know for sure but I think you guys got over spray on the BUMPERS. And I think I have seen this car as a taxi in cuba with the same paint job.
Don't pay attention to the wing windows or anything else I forgot. I know you said no chop, but I got carried away...
Make the color split at the drip rail. Window frames body color. I think Pontiac painted the drip rail body color, Oldsmobile painted it top color, your choice. Do it different and more people are going to think it looks odd than not. (Yes, he does care what people think or he wouldn't be asking....) Lose the visor, please...
