I havent posted pics in a while so I thought Id share some progress pics. I finished the rear Z including the roll bar mounts. I also made rear shock mounts off the 36 wishbones to the Olds rear end. Next up was the brake assembly-master cylinder mount. I have a bitchen Ansen Posi Shift shifter that I was going to use but it interfered with everything so I basically remade all the parts except for the shifter itself...I may remake the shifter later on... More pics to come, I plan on putting the body back on this weekend
I LIKE what I see, I look forward to seeing the body going on!Its all very damn clean, the fit and finish is spot-on. Nick.
Thanks for all the kind words I put the body back on because I need to build rear inner structure. I got all the patch panels on and pretty much roughed in the door gaps are looking good and the quarters are looking better but still need some more work (this body was all tore up) Next up is to get the deck lid to fit and work on the panel below the rear window.
Kick ass Sandy. Hot rod reunion is a few weeks away!!!! Hahahaha. Keep the pedal to the metal. Looks tits so far.
I like the stance!Have you gone for a slant channell?I'm diggin' the cage too, I've toyed with the idea of one meself,MMM, makes me think! I look forward to your progress Sandy, you can't have enough GREAT Model ''A'' builds I reckon! Nick.
Thanks Coby Hot Rod Reunion soon??? Its all about Labor and $$$ and guess which I dont have. I have gone for the slant channel...to keep the hot rod rake. Iwas a little complex to do but well worth it. I have to thank Jimmy White for bending the roll bar for me. The rear bars are done with slip joints so it comes apart pretty easy. Ill post pics of that and more pics later on.
Sandy, a normal channel is hard enough, so I take my hat off to y'.Your ''A'' does have Damn fine rake to it though! Nick.
The more I'm on the HAMB, the more I see stuff on my car the guy before me did that now I won't live with !!!!!
This is going to be a cool 60's style radical hot rod, wait until you see the exhaust. Sandy has taken on a project most people would reject (and have), but he will get it all done. Its going to look awesome finished.
wow...nice one dude....i really like the stance and direction you're taking with that coupe. what are you planning with regard to paint? cheers....Jick
