I took 156 pictures today!!! It wasn't exactly "perfect" Krawl weather with rain falling during most of the Krawl, but that didn't slow any of us down for a second! Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for Mike and I to go to all the places on the Krawl, but let me tell you, what we did see was totally mind blowing!

We were at the Host Hotel at 9:00AM after checking in, and talking to everyone for awhile, it was time to start Krawling. We Made it to the Hemi shop, since I didn't have my camera with me, I didn't get any pictures, but not only were there cars in there but 3 AIRPLANES!!! They all were 40 something trainer planes! there was several Chysler/Doge/Plymouth cars in there and a wall with old newspaper stories about dragsters, funny cars and circle burners. Then in a trailer outside was a very swweeet Hemi powered Dragster just waiting for someone to take it racing.

Then we were off to Hub Harness's place. Now this is somewhere I have been before, but I am telling you, every time I go back, there is more stuff to look at, not just the garage, but Hub's back yard is Nostalgia all the way from the mini gas station in the back, to his m***ive garage, to his work area. I was invited into the house and was totally blown away by all the stuff on display in there. Hub and Gloria have a virtual museum in there. WOW!!! I took pictures of the back yard, and they are in the album site at the bottom of this post.

From there we went to Junion Blakwell's place, just a few blocks north of Hub's place. Junior has a 62 Pontiac in there that I fell head over heels for. We spent a lot of time there just talking.

After leaving Juniors, we decided to make the trek down to Chris's place in Mulvane, which is quite a little drive, but let me tell you, once we pulled up in front of his place, I was wowed!!! The place just flat blew me away! Choas Customs is anything but Chaos, it is just plain old mind blowing.

By the time we finally pulled ourselves out of Chri's shop, it was time to get home and start working on the food I was taking to the party out at Jack's house. Jack doesn't live all that far from Chiris's place in Mulvane. Since it had rained most of the day, and not knowing exactly where Jack was going to pull all those cars, we decided that maybe it would not be a good idea to get Kool Kat out there and risk getting stuck in all that mud, so we took our Gofer 77 Caprice out there, let me tell you, Mike wasn't happy with that decision, because we had no idea just how long his driveway is and we would not have had any problems with Kool Kat, ya live and learn. LOL

So here is the link to my pictures I took toady. We are pooped after a day of Krawling and partying. We still have the show and shine tomorrow, so this is just the start of a VERY AWESOME show. Come visit my album

Thanx for the fotos, question, is the 57 chevy in one of the first albums, is that primer or is it painted gray?

Good question. I never asked, but it sure was shiny, so I am guessing it is paint.

Thanks for the pictures . Would have been there but back went south, which is no problem except I wanted to go north at the time. Maybe next year.

BOY!!! I am totally tuckered out!! It was an unbelievable day! I knew this was going to be totally cool, but it was so much better than even I imagined! The Museum was three floors of flight history, the building alone was like walking into a time warp. The cars amid the planes on the Tarmac had me busy with my camera all day. I tried my dead level best to get at least one picture of every car at this event, by 3:00 I began to realize that this was a very difficult task. I am going to sort and post the album tomorrow, I just finished loading all 175 pictures from today alone, I am so tired now, it's all I can do to type, so I am going to turn in, get some shut eye and upload them tomorrow, and tag them next week. So Keep your eye out tomorrow for the pictures I took today, along with a new post for just the show.

It was an experience like no other today. THANKS TO MICK AND HIS AWESOME CLUB FROM OKLAHOMA!!! It was GREAT.

Thanks for all your pic's. I'm sure the crawl was fun rain or not. I'll plan a little better next year so I won't miss the crawl again. Gary

The 57 Chevy is in primer. Sherwin Williams P30 primer. It has a sheen for self guide coating. Very good for sanding, great build and looks great in the shop.
