    Have a 4 speed I've packed around for 30+ years-t-10, iron case.
Don't know the codes on these
    tailshaft has M-55-58,T107A,case has t10-1,a littleQ2 and a small 6-16
trans is good, just don't know how to ID it-only has shifter holes(3) way to the rear of tailshaft.
    Thank you

Can't help with the numbers but, your description of the 'three shifter mounting holes' at the rear, sounds like the T10 in my A,which came from a '65 Mustang.Any pics?

  3. IS it a Ford or GM bolt pattern? Does it have a long or short tailshaft?

It sound like a SBF Mustang or Falcon trans . They are great trans for the small block but the good one is the Ford-Top loader on the big blocks . Either way they are both good transmissions !

Sounds like one out of a mustang.shifter mounts with 3 bolts at the end of the tailshaft.falcon & comet shifters mount up near the main case.both are the same length.tailshafts will interchange.
