It is looking like we are going to have one KILLER of a weekend planned! Weather is going to be great, Food and Cold drinks ordered and the movies for Friday & Saturday night are set and The Maxwells are tuned up and ready to play Saturday night.

If you guys in the region missed the show last year......dont make the same mistake this year!

    Photos from last years show:

And a video made by a couple guys (Sled & S***ch from St Louis) who were at the show last year:

Hope to see you at AREA 57 this weekend at Sleds in September!

Besides all the cars and vendors on hand, we have a few things going on Friday eveing, depending on when you get here.

Here is the schedule for Friday night:
5:00 pm – Dam cruise – take a scenic cruise with us “off the strip”

6:30 -7:00pm – Cook out for Sleds in September registered participants –please RSVP by Sept 10th so we have enough food for everyone. We will also be giving away some of the Door Prizes at supper! We will be joined by THE PLATTERS!

8:00 pm – (dusk) FREE Drive-In movie – Hot Rod Gang - with food & ice cold sodas and beer available

You can register at the gate Friday when you get here, but please call Lynn at 417-588-7900 so he knows you are coming and how many you are bringing to ensure he has enough food on hand.

    Thanks
    Larry

I was shocked that your Merc wasn't mentioned in the Featured kustoms. That is one
of the reasons that I'm going over there is too check out your Merc.

    Happy Trails,

LOL....yeah, me and my 80's/90's out of place details merc is one of the featured sleds.....I'm gonna park it right next to Jack's clone so everyone can see what mine wants to be when it grows up. LOL.

Seriously though, I am totally stoked you are coming. I have yet to see your finished 2 dr conversion in person. I'm gonna stand at the gate until you get there and I can follow it all the way through the lot to be the first person to see it. :)

Well it was a good try Larry, but the weather didn't let it happen too successfully.
