  9. Damn man, you guys are brutal. Give us a break, we get three car shows a year. We dont get as much practice as you guys.... there were about 450 cars there, what was your guys' last turnout in your dairy-queen parking lot????

Hey man, did you get any pics of the tan and brown ford truck with the copper dash????

Did that guy go crazy with the buffer on that Stude or something. Actually, I kind of hope that was the case and not added on top of the black to make it look patinaed. With an actual sweet paint job and some new wheels, that car might be verging on killer - unless the interior is **** too. No, I'm not talking about the Stude with the 8ft tall galv. plumbing pipe exhaust stacks. Man, there is some hard to take cars and trucks in that bunch.

Our last big show was the Primer Nats. If you do a search, you'll see the difference in cars that show up here. We don't have shows at Dairy Queen here. That's called a Cruise night. Not a car show...If you can wait til tomorrow morning,i'll post my pic's! You can decide for yourself...

    Great photos thanks for posting

  14. I have no doubt that your car shows are better, you live in cali for christs sake(I know, I lived there for 15 years), youve got a show every weekend all year long... But theres no reason to dog a town/state because you saw pics of 15 cars out of the hundreds there on the internet, 90 percent of the cars you saw were painted with a ****ing can.... I didnt even stop to look at most of the cars he posted... There were better cars there, and there were cars going in and out all day long, it was a free show/food drive...

That's cool. I don't think anyone is saying it to personally insult anyone. Let's see the better cars then. Not to try to prove you wrong, but just so we can see the good cars. Most of us like seeing pics of good, better thought out cars, not rat rods, that's all.

If you don't want comments on the ****ty cars, don't post them! Post the "GOOD" cars then...
Stuff like that shows up at the shows here sometimes also....but I don't post them!!!

  17. Not that it proves my point or anytyhing but it was calledthe rat-rod-a-rama... stating on the posters that it is for garage/home built hot rods.... I personally dont take pics at car shows, not my thing... I think the term ratrod, gets too much negativity.... to me a rat rod is a car built by your own hands... not some fancy shop that you handed enourmous checks every week. I do agree that there are unsafe dumb****s out there. we need a term for those rods that are built by regular people in small workspaces with limited finances...its definitely not traditional anymore, the price to do a traditional rod to your guys' standards is in the stratosphere now... the term Im thinking of is.... oh yeah, a HOTROD. Ill step off my soapbox now and go back to drinking my 'shine.

    Ratrod-o-Rama? That explains everything...
I do take pic's at every show I go to. And out of respect to the other members who joined to see Traditional style cars,I DON'T waste the time posting the "WTF-WOW factor" cars. I don't want to see them here, why would I expect the other guys on here to.
And you CAN build a Traditional car yourself. Have you seen Chris Casny's Coupe? That's not a "Shop Car". B***'s Coupe,Ian's Chevy Custom,FlamedAbone's Merc,etc...I could go on and on.
