You're not alone.......I love Chevy II station wagons! Checkout this car my father owned back in the Seventies. It was Chevy II wagon with a 396-375 HP Big Block engine, Turbo 400, 12-bolt rear with 4.88's and a straight axle front suspension. It was built by a fellow that also had an identical 2-door hardtop version with the same drivetrain. He had to sell one for whatever reason and my father, being the family man with three kids, chose the station wagon over the hardtop! This beast became our regular family transportaion for awhile! It's also a car that I would love to re-create some day!
When I was born my parents brought me home from the hospital in a nova wagon. My dad drove his 64 wagon everyday for 15 years, now i kinda want one.
That is one nice wagon! I had a 63 Chevy II wagon once, a sleeper street racer, but it was nowhere a nice as this. I'm envious. Butch/56sedandelivery.

Got mine painted today. Yeah I know the hot rod black thing is played out but this is what I wanted for the car from the beginning.
Nova wagons are nice. I had a 64 Falcon 2 dr sedan delivery that I wish I had back. I was going to drop it, throw on some Torq Thrusts and a 427 fiberglass hood.
I have been looking for one but its kinda hard to find one. looked at a 65 yesterday but it was patched up lots of bondo over rust.
