Hey I thought I would Get Sunday models going with a GM concept car I saw in Hemmings Classic Cars, The L'Universelle. Soon as I saw it my brain started churning . Heres how you could attempt to build it using AMT Cameo and 55 Nomad parts and some imagination. Would make a good drag push car? Dont pay attention to the top car, didn't have time to edit.
Finished this chopped and channeled Model A. Used most of the new Revell 5-window deuce kit with the '30 Model A body. Deepened the rear steelies. Wired and plumbed the hemi. Scratchbuilt the headers. Paint is Tamiya tan (USAF) and blood red wheels and engine. Resin '39 tailights. Channeled grille shell with photoetched grille.
Here's an old model but a new pic that shows the flame job better. An old Revell kit ,1/12 I think, that has been recently rebuilt and the profile changed. My first try spraying water based Pearl paint (thanks to some tips from Koolkat).
here are mine for today. these are some of my older builds from a few years back <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o> </o> Dave
Great work guys! Here is a 1966 Nova A/S that I finished a couple of weeks ago but have not shown anywhere yet. Nice kit to work with but the suspension parts up front takes a lot of work if you want the wheels to sit properly on the ground :-( I also finished another model earlier - it's a fictious A/FX'er: "What happened to Hayden Proffitt's 1962 Bel Air after the 1962 season?"
